Butterfly Kite

These kites are made in Weifang, of the Shandong peninsula of China where kites have been built for over 500 years. Hand-made and hand-painted on silk as realistic butterflies, these kites make unique wall decorations when they are not being flown. Each kite comes with string on a plastic handle and a brochure on the interesting history of kites that started in China over 3,000 years ago. This butterfly with lavender markings is approximately 25" wide X 18.5" tall, including antennae.
Shipped separately in a mailing tube.
